The Point Nepean Information Centre is the central hub of Point Nepean National Park and is located within the Quarantine Station. There are drinking fountains available, with barbeque facilities, several picnic tables and platforms and flushing toilets.

You can grab an audio tour from the Information Centre to learn about the rich history of the Quarantine Station, Fort Nepean and their surroundings.

Or you can get on the hop-on-hop-off Point Nepean shuttle service, which runs between the Quarantine Station and Fort Nepean. This is a great way to explore all the highlights of Point Nepean National Park.

Bike and eBike hire is available from Bayplay opposite the Information Centre. For all bookings visit bayplay.com.au. All terrain wheelchairs may also be borrowed from the Visitor Centre for people with limited mobility.

Boat landing is permitted in designated boat landing areas in front of the Quarantine Station only.

Swimming at the bay beach and the Quarantine Station is permitted, however, be aware of strong currents and rips. The beach is unpatrolled with limited access for emergency services.

Snakes are active in the warmer months, so please stay on the existing paths to avoid any unnecessary encounters.
