McGregors Picnic Area (Macedon Regional Park)

McGregor's Picnic Ground is surrounded by native forest and also contains historic plantings of conifer (Cedar and Douglas Fir) trees. A great place to start a walk towards either Camels Hump or the Memorial Cross and an ideal shady spot for picnics on hot summer days.

Macedon Regional Park - Hemphill's Track - closure

A large tree has fallen across Hemphill’s Track.
There is no vehicle access along Hemphill’s Track.  Vehicles are not able to pass the fallen tree.
Hemphill’s Track remains open to walkers.
Hemphill’s Track will be re-opened when machinery is available to clear the fallen tree.
