The ‘Spotter’ wave monitoring buoy that it was marking remains at the charted location and is lit with characteristics FL(Y)2.5s but has limited visibility.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the wave monitoring buoys.

Charts & Publications Affected:

Mariners are advised that the lit Special Mark buoy with characteristics FL (Y) 2.5s, marking a wave monitoring buoy in the vicinity of Portsea Pier, Weeroona Bay at the following location (WGS84): 38°18.948' S, 144°42.742' E is missing. The ‘Spotter’ wave monitoring buoy that it was marking remains at the charted location and is lit with characteristics FL(Y)2.5s but has limited visibility. Mariners are advised to navigate with caution within the vicinity of the wave monitoring buoys.
